A Grade ll listed house with extensive landscaped gardens, gifted for the use and enjoyment of the people by Henry Charles 'Inky' Stephens of the Stephens' Ink Company.

How to get here

There are numerous ways to get to Stephens House & Gardens, we recommend you travel by public transport as there is limited parking on site.

On Foot

There are four entrances, one located in each corner of the gardens.

By Bike

You can cycle to any of the four entrances, but please note we do not allow cycling in the south west part of the gardens, We have secure cycle 'lock up' stands.

By Bus

Buses 13, 125, 143, 460 and 326 stop nearby.

By Underground

The nearest underground station is Finchley Central on the High Barnet Branch of the Northern Line. On leaving the station walk up to Regents Park Road, turn left and, at the A504 junction, turn left again into East End Road. The house is on the left hand side.

By Car

From North Circular Road (A406):
Leave at the junction with the A598, Regents Park Road (Henlys Corner) towards Finchley. At the first major set of traffic lights turn right into East End Road (A504 - signposted East Finchley). 

From Finchley Church End:
Follow Regents Park Road (A598) towards North Circular (A406), turn left into East End Road (A504 -signposted East Finchley). Stephens House & Gardens is on the left hand side of the road.

Limited car parking is available on roads nearby.  There is a restriction between 14.00 - 15.00.  There is  chargeable parking bays on East End Road and a large car park at Finchley Central Station.

Parking is not available on site except for hirers of Avenue House
